Los Angeles’ Krait Base hosted an open tournament last weekend that brought members from the surrounding SoCal areas. It was a quick-moving tournament that almost saw 2nd place winner Jose Ortiz-Miranda of Krait Base almost knocked from the bracket by NoHo Saber’s Sharlyn Carter. But, Ortiz-Miranda pulled through to continue on to a battle for Gold against Krait Base captain Tony Zaldua Jr. In the end, after a close match, Zaldua Jr. won by just thee points.
