GREENVILLE, SC— On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Aiken Saber Academy and Knights of Siena are hosting the Palmetto State Combat LED Saber Open Competition. The competition will be held at the Knights of Siena Fencing Academy at 1314 Rutherford Rd Greenville SC. The competition will be held using Lightspeed Saber League and Saber Legion Style of Fencing. There is both a Novice and Open Division. All teens are expected to fence in Novice Division with only the most experienced allowed to fence in Open Style. Alan Blakebourough from the Knights of Siena is expected to umpire the Lightspeed part of the meet and I will be umpiring the Saber Legion part because of unknown adults who may be participating. The cost of the competition is ten dollars which will go for the cost of the award medals.
