SQUADRONS
Squadrons are formally sanctioned teams who run with Lightspeed Saber rules and equipment on a regular basis, can run competitions, and can be expected to have a good command of the Lightspeed Saber system.
FORMATIONS
Formations are informally recognized teams or groups known to be using the Lightspeed Saber system, but may be small and/or inexperienced, or may be on squadrons hiatus for various reasons. They are making their way towards becoming full squadrons again (we hope). Formations generally do not hold competitions.
Formations are not owned, operated, managed, nor insured by Lightspeed Saber League. Please be sure to take all necessary precautions directed by the formation.
For individuals who want their stats recorded, viewable online, and be able to rank up to qualify for higher level competitions. NOT necessary if you don’t plan to compete or care about rank or stats.
Register your starting formation for free, and get Lightspeed Saber League’s attention. You must meet a few requirements to apply and be approved.
