MACH I

Insert a piece of cardboard or other thin, hard surface into the RIGHT sleeve of the shirt. (You want this surface to be as hard and solid as possible.)

Line up the shoulder seam to the middle of the board. (Mini clipboards and binder clips work well together to stretch out the fabric if you have them.)

Heat up your iron for cotton (and no higher), then pre-warm the area where the mach will go for about 5 seconds.

Place the tip of the first mach 2-1/4” to 2-1/2” from the edge of the sleeve.

FIRMLY press down on the mach for 10-15 seconds. The more pressure you apply, the more durable to mach will be, so put all your weight on it if possible.

Let the mach cool for about a minute.

Firmly press the mach once more for 10-15 seconds and let cool for about a minute.

SLOWLY peel the clear plastic away from the mach. As you do so, look carefully for any parts of the design that don’t look completely bonded to the fabric. Immediately stop the peeling and re-iron if necessary to get a full bond. (DO NOT iron directly on the mach. Always iron through the clear plastic.)

Done! For the greatest longevity, air dry after washing.
MACH II AND BEYOND

Place cardboard or other thin, hard surface into the sleeve.

Heat your iron to cotton (and no higher), then pre-warm the area to be treated for about 5 seconds. DO NOT touch the first mach.

Place and line up the new mach below the previous mach. There should be about 1/8” of space between the two.

With the iron, and while avoiding the previous mach, press one wing of the new mach with as much pressure as you can muster (put all your weight into it if possible). 10-15 seconds will be enough. (Be sure not to miss the upper edge of the mach nearest the previous mach.)

Repeat the press on the other wing.

Let the mach cool for about a minute.

Iron each wing once more for 10-15 seconds and let cool for another minute.

SLOWLY peel off the clear plastic while looking for any areas of the mach that may not be fully bonded (pay close attention to those upper edges). Replace the plastic and re-iron as needed. Do not iron the mach directly.

Done! For the greatest longevity, air dry after washing.
