New and improved adapters are coming! They’re exactly the same as the old adapters but now with better grip. As they do require a few extra processing steps, the price will go up to reflect that. Please see the product page for new details on attaching and removing the adapters.
Blade prices are also going up shortly.
It took a whole year, but Lightspeed Saber League and 70 of its competitors have been recognized as having earned a Guinness World Record for the largest king-of-the-hill Lightspeed-saber battle. More details to come, including the story of the record, how it was won, who won, and where we go from here. Until then, you can pick up your own copy of Guinness World Records 2020 wherever books are sold!

Daniel Delgado of Lightspeed Saber Academy took home the gold for the first IGNITE novice tournament, showing his best performance in a competition so far. The tournament welcomed many newcomers, in particular, three from Gryphon Fencing Club, and was the first ever run at the academy. Patricia Bauler also took first place in the women’s category. Click the link for a full rundown of the competition.
This has already been announced on Facebook but we wanted to make sure this was on record at the website, and inform everyone that match videos and some photos from the tournament have been released! Go check them out!
With the competitive season starting up, it’s about time we got up this video detailing the modern scoring system used in Lightspeed Saber League. You can always check our the official rules manual here on the site, but it always helps to have visuals too. Check out the video below!
We are so pleased to finally formally welcome the Colorado-based Weldrotha Nerfherders to Lightspeed Saber League! Weldrotha base is almost certainly the most stylin Lightspeed base in the league. Lightspeed-sabers, cow-tipping, and colorful disco saber nights are their specialty, not to mention their tremendous experience in traditional saber and epee. A subdivision of Greeley Fencing Club, Cody and Mike Moskalski lead traditional fencing classes almost everyday, and have now added Lightspeed-saber to their weapon canon on Friday evenings. Please give this squad a warm welcome!
We are temporarily out of stock on all fresh blades. We’ll be back in stock next week. Don’t worry!
