Regardless of title, all team members contribute in many different areas, and the league couldn’t exist or grow without their contributions.
VICKERZ ZEN— CHIEF STRATEGIC OFFICER
Vickerz is a founding member, a paragon in lightsmithery, and a formidable fencer. Both his designs and his very use of those designs have irreversibly changed combat strategy in Lightspeed Saber League.
A respected member in the league and in the lightsaber community at large, Vickerz is a key ambassador and advocate for Lightspeed-saber fencing.
TONY ZALDUA JR— CHIEF FABRICATOR
Tony’s creativity is unmatched, on and off the battlefield. Numerous technical and gameplay innovations have come about because of his work in the ‘shop and his formidable performance in the ring.
Besides being a talented fabricator, Tony is also the leader of Krait Base Los Angeles.
DAVID WALKER— CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER
David is one of Lightspeed’s most dedicated members and one of the single best fencers in the league. His commitment to true and traditional combat make him a force to be reckoned with, and an invaluable sounding board for matters of rules construction and game strategy. David is also one of the league’s top referees.
CANG SNOW— CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Cang is the founder of Lightspeed Saber League and Lightspeed Saber Academy. Cang used his experiences in rock-climbing, CrossFit, fencing, and game-design to create the instructional, competitive, and scoring systems used in Lightspeed today.
GEORGE LUETKEMEYER— TEXAS STATE DIRECTOR
George is a leader within Lightspeed Saber Dallas and an extremely passionate advocate for Lightspeed-saber fencing. Though Dallas is the sole Lightspeed squadron in Texas, George’s contributions to the cause are significant, and no one in Texas deserves the title more than him.
SEAN HOLTZMAN— REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Sean is a longtime member with many years experience in traditional combat. As such he is one of the most knowledgeable senior members around, and now serves as the regional director of Southern California. All official meets and competitions go through him.
NICK GRANGE — NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF SPECIAL EVENTS
Nick is a long time member, previously serving as Chief Engineering Officer but since promoted to a higher calling in recognition of his dedication and years of service. Nick is the primary ambassador and liaison between Lightspeed and other major organizations.
PATRICIA BAULER— CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER
Tricia is a founding member whose experience in competitive roller-skating has shaped the direction of competitive Lightspeed. She helps to manage and advises Lightspeed’s organization and operation.
