WHY SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS?

Submitting tournament results is a required step if you want your tournament to be an officially sanctioned event.

This data allows Lightspeed Saber to keep track of who is competing in and hosting tournaments, which is vital information for LSL members who are interested in ranking up. Submitting your data means that Lightspeed Saber can:

Calculate the data you provide for you
- This data calculates rankings and keeps track of how regularly members are competing
Format and share the article about your tournament with the community
Keep accurate records of league-wide activities

TOURNAMENT DATA

In order for the tournament to be properly entered into data, careful records must be kept. Lightspeed Saber will not be able to calculate the tournament’s value nor your fencers’ performance without the following:

Fencer win/loss data (who beat whom)
Fencer point spreads (by how much?)

In addition, the tournament must be evenly or randomly seeded to ensure fair play for all competitors.
