DALLAS, TX ( DEC 19, 2010)— On a brisk Texas evening in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Kyber Combat conducted two individual appearances for Alamo Draft House in both Lake Highlands and North Richland Hills. This is not the first guest appearance that Kyber Combat has made, and it certainly wont be the last. Our robed warriors and armored soldiers marched to an imperial tune as the collective groups gathered at their respective theaters where guests would be transported to an experience “far, far away” from any other movie-going event. This is the way.
Both events kicked off at precisely 6 pm, where volunteers from Kyber and North Texas Cosplay stood ready for Theater attendees to talk about Star Wars lore, share a few laughs over fond memories from the series and take pictures in costume and garb before snagging their tickets to see Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker that evening! From the New Canon to the Expanded Universe, the cast of characters ranged from original content to faithful reproductions of Jedi, Sith, Stormtroopers, Mandalorians and more! Kyber Combat raised the bar by providing an intense display of live combat, colorful flow katas and Lightspeed demonstrations.
While it is sad to see the conclusion of the Skywalker saga, Star Wars will return. And when it does, the Kyber Combatants will be ready to thrill and entertain audiences once again.
