A new competition weapon class is introduced for the first time to Lightspeed Saber fencing since 2017. The new Dyad class saber system consists of one parrying saber, meant for defense, and one primary saber meant for offense and defense.
This idea, originating from Lightspeed Saber Rockville’s second officer, Aedan Stadther, and developed by the Lightspeed Saber officer core, was intended to be an initial step toward introducing dual-wielded weapon systems to competitive Lightspeed Saber. However, early tests have shown that it could easily be a system in its own right. Only time will tell, and, perhaps, you will be instrumental in determining its final characteristics and dimensions. For now, the dimensions shown below are the proposed measurements. Any details not mentioned, you may presume to be the same as normal Rey Saber.
