Competitors at the Feeble Skills Tournament Series: Alpha

In a thrilling day of lightsaber dueling at the Rockville Fencing Academy, the competition saw fierce clashes and brilliant displays of skill as competitors fought through pool play and single-elimination rounds to claim the championship. The event, known for its high level of competition, did not disappoint, with awe-inspiring victories.

Pool Round Highlights

Em Watson shone in the pools, emerging as the top seed with an impressive record of 5 wins and a score of 78 points. Close on their heels were Benjamin Broklawski with 4 wins and Ken Myers and Eric Pellicci with 3 wins each. This set the stage for a high-stakes elimination bracket.

Elimination Round Highlights

The elimination rounds opened with exciting duels. As the top seed, Emily Watson earned a bye and advanced directly to the semi-finals. The remaining competitors faced intense matches, none closer than the match between Ian K. and Ben B. They both fought valiantly but Ian cinched the win with a final counter attack, winning 26-22

In the semi-finals. it was Eric vs the top seed Em. It was a hard fought battle, but Eric was able to overcome Em's impressive Tano skills and came out on top. The other semi-final match was between teammates Ian and Ken, with Ken using Tano and Ian using the antiquated Dyad. It was an exciting flurry of blades with Ken coming out on top, though it was a little touch and go for a bit.

Finals: The championship round between teammates and relatively newcomers Eric Pellicci and Ken Myers. Both competitors displayed incredible skill, but Pellicci's focused and calculated strikes ultimately prevailed against Ken's amazing defensive skills, securing him a 26-18 victory and first place.

As always we'd like to thank all the family and friends of the competitors who cam out to watch. A special shout out to Brent Keith, who passed all his referee exams and was thrown into the deep end and did extremely well for refereeing his first competition.
