Lightspeed’s 2024 Nationals tournament, Lightspeed Menace, was a 5 day long event with a total of nine tournament types across all five days: 2 advanced events, 2 open events, 2 women’s events, a Ren saber event, and 2 team events. There were around 35 total competitors, with even more visitors, who came from all across the United States and Canada.

While it’s difficult to sum up every incredible match and praise each stellar fencer in a short article, we are excited to share the final results of the week-long Nationals. Keep an eye out for more news-to-come about the event, and we can’t wait to see you all next year for Lightspeed Attack!

SPECIAL THANKS

Cang Snow, John Mullins, Patricia Bauler, and Kevin Fournier worked tirelessly across the whole event and in the days (and months) prior to keep things running smoothly, plan a variety of fun events, organize boxes & referees, handle technical problems, and so much more, to ensure that this Nationals was a success. None of this event would have been possible without them. Thank you for making Lightspeed happen!
