Lightspeed Saber Academy’s Lucky Charm tournament, held on March 15, was an open rank, all gender Rey Saber tournament with 12 total competitors from across the SoCal area. Competitors ranged from A all the way to U rank, giving the tournament an A2 rating. Meaning someone would be going home with an A rank at the end of the day.

Every fencer would move onto the brackets, fighting in 24 point matches until the finals, which would be to 36 points. Here are the bracket results:
Chris Isom, Lightspeed’s 2024 National Champion, making a surprise appearance at the tournament, took gold, a feat that also re-earned him his A rank earned last year. Jose Ortiz Miranda, leader of Los Angeles’ Krait Base, took silver, and Lightspeed Saber Academy member David Lazenby took bronze, earning his C rank in the process.
